Fight Club – A 1999 Classic

                                       Ya,ya…. Too late. I’m too, too much late to watch this movie. I just saw it yesterday and it forced me to write about this cult classic movie. The movie title never inspired me to watch it in first place. However going through an astounding amount of extravagant quotes, I made up my mind to watch this movie. And believe me, this movie is highly recommended by anyone and I am going to recommend too. The movie will leave you in pieces.

                                        I cannot talk about the movie itself because it will lead to spoilers. The main idea of the movie is to “STOP CARING AND LET IT GO“. Leave the bullshit out of your mind. The movie consists of superstars Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. They both acted transcendent. The screenplay was extraordinary and direction was superb too. I think that is you can expect from David Fincher. Here are some awesome quotes:-

Review: Batman v Superman

Just watched it. And

Why people didn’t liked Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice:-

1) Our eyes always try to find Christian Bale as Batman. And Alfred doesn’t even look like Alfred.!
2) Gal Gadot aka Wonder Woman is not so flashy (compared to Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow). Although she looks gorgeous in the movie.
3) Movie is too dark. Why Zack Snyder is always so fascinated about Dark movies? I mean he could have add some more colors. See the image above.

I do believe that in boxing and I do believe that in life.

          As Oscars are coming closer, movies are flattering my mind. Today, I got to see this beautifully written movie “Creed” of movie-franchisee “Rocky”.

Story follows the same Rocky movies.( I haven’t seen any Rocky movies yet.) Focused on Rocky Balboa and his late opponent Apollo Creed. But this time Creed’s son Adonis Creed was the main character. As fighting and boxing flows in his blood , he also wanted to go with the boxing. And suddenly he got in contact with the great Rocky Balboa , at first Rock hesitated but after regaining some memory he took a shot. To be frank story was little bit slow at the beginning. But after getting consciousness about the disease of Rock, story picked massive grip.

Yes, the story is kind of similar of “The Karate Kid”. But it is greatly represented. The movie has some of the great one-liners , which one should always keep in mind to survive through life.( Which I like the most.) Probably this is the first movie which was not true story although I liked it pretty much.

Now coming to the awards, the film has gained various nomination with nomination in the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Sylvester Stallone. Yes, he has done a great job. But you know competition is tough this time. I’ve recently watched Spotlight also and found out great acting of Mark Ruffalo. And possibly no one can beat the marvellous acting of J.K.Simmons ‘s last year.

In short, Creed is a must watch movie if you’re looking for some inspiration.

Movie I should have watched before…

As poster suggests movie is more about life and work. Rich brats always end up wasting time. Story follows a collegian who always end up wasting time and money on playing video games , parties and hang-outs. Father is a businessman plus rich. Getting failed in exams throws him out of the house. And shifts to friend’s home, where also he ends up creating nussence. After realizing that what he had been doing wasn’t good , soon he catches a job as an intern at leading magazine of Mumbai. After getting stable in life relationship with his father got better with him and he again moved to his beloved home, and suddenly he realizes that he has left one very important thing.

The movie is a must watch for those who are like me; who don’t know what to do in life? How we can create a meaning full life? 

The journey to the perfect life is so beautiful ; let’s create one.!

 

THE MARTIAN – A CLASSIC MATT TYPE PERFORMANCE

Watched the most anticipated movie of the year ‘The Martian’. Since when man took a big leap in the space, we served a dream so called ‘colony on mars’. It became our mission. The movie follows same sense. Matt Damon and his crew along with Jessica Chastain flew for research on Mars. And unfortunately one tragedy occurs and they have to leave Matt Damon on Mars. Alone. Yes, fu$%^*( alone. Can you just imagine how hard it would be???

And yes there are no aliens. Although Mark (Matt) do not lose courage and finds it way to survive. HOW? by growing food. According to Space Law a person who is outside the planet can consider it as a international sea. So by some way now the Mars belongs to the Mark.

Apparently its true. You’re just gonna love those expressions Matt has made. Awesome. Matt Damon has delivered one the best performance of his career. #MattDamonCanDoAnything

Andy Weir deserves a salute too, without him this movie wasn’t possible. He did a fantastic job. Ridley Scott has done perfect direction. But I can say that this movie is not as great as the Interstellar. But this movie is capable of providing all the thrills that Sci-Fi movie-buff asks for.

THE NOLAN MANIA

After watching the marvellous trailer of BATMAN VS SUPERMAN while heading to the hostel with my hostel buddies suddenly one question striked my mind… The question was

MARVEL CHARACTORS ARE STICK TO THEIR ACTORS WHILE DC’S NOT. WHY?

Like RDJ as IronMan, Chris Evans as Captain America while Batman and Superman kept on changing over the years. This question led to other question which was…..

WHY BATMAN TRILOGY IS SO POPULAR?

Suddenly one of my friend replied that it is because of the NOLAN means they were directed by The Great Nolan.I also love Sir Christopher so much….because of the work and effort and heart and thinking he puts in his creation.

WHAT IS NOLAN TRYING TO MAKE?

He directed the Momento in 2000 then The Batman in 2005 then the Prestige in 2007 then the Inception in 2010
then the Interstellar in 2014. Do you see any resemblance…..No not at all…. Have a look at the genre of the movies..

In his carrer of 7 films, hardly you’ll find any resemblance. Everytime he is changing his taste. WHY??? CONFUSING RIGHT???

P.S.: WHAT WILL BE THE NEXT??? Maybe we also end up with the heartthrobing love-story….. WHO KNOWS?

BIRDMAN-THE UNEXPECTED VIRTUE OF IGNORANCE

“THE UNEXPECTED VIRTUE OF IGNORANCE”

The name itself suggest the theme of the movie. Ignorance is the term which drives you crazy…..

The movie hovers around a man who is a superhero so called “BIRDMAN” in his era. Riggan hallucinate superhero since he had down the comic book movie, who tells him what to do and what not to, which seems arrogating to Riggan (Michael Keaton)….

There are many good and funny scenes in the movie that amazed me so much. The most funny scene was that which happened at 43:28 where Mike(Edward Norton) got excited…HAHAHA… The other one at 1:33:50 where a guy rushed into the theatre saying that “”Sir, Sir you did not pay me “Haramkhor paisa diya vagar chalyo gayo che, paisa diya vagar chalyo gayo che (Bastard moved away without paying, moved away without paying)”This guy didn’t pay me. He’s fucking crazy.”” If you don’t know this is a Gujarati sentence. Gujarat is a state located in India. People who lives there are called Gujaratis…. I’m telling this because I’m a Gujarati too. I don’t know why this came in the movie… Anyways I feel proud.

The most thing I loved about this movie is the constant moving camera… Seriously cinematography of the movie is the best.. It feels like you’re beside them.. This makes movie so watchful. The second thing I found superb is the background Drums…. Oh wow drums added such a real experience. Completing shooting 2 hour movie in just 30 days is not a child’s play… Really hats off to Alejandro Inarritu for his superb effort. The movie got an Oscar for The Best Movie of 2015 because of its strong story baseline. No big movie budget, No fancy things, just simple and great…..

BOYHOOD- A STORY AN INSPIRATION

After watching Kingman: The Secret Service yesterday…. I went straight to this fabulous movie Boyhood…

Movie centers the foreign life of a child..  Yes it’s a foreign life because there’s nothing alike for an Indian child. Terrific performance by  everyone. Espacially the original father and the original mother yes she deserved the Oscar and she made it.

The regret is that how can this type of perfect direction is possible? The director Richard Linklater deserves an Oscar…. what happened to the critics.. Have they gone mad?

The movie inspired me alot. Specially the speech happened at 1:43:34 to 1:46:33… The best part of the movie.. Now all I can think about is how to make money and make my father proud .. Shit I’m fucki’n 18 and I did’nt even made single rupee. And this movie made me India love better….

I just want to think creative and make money make my glorious fortune… I want to be the KING of the digital world, I want to live making every body stand. If I die without contributing my country I’ve died for nothing. Please make me some spark…

Paisa Vasul 6 Bossss

The day that will be recalled again & again

Woke up at 4:30 in early morning….. Left at 5:10… 8 buddies, 4 vehicles and lots of passion and masti….

After 1 hour of long drive we reached at Thol Sanctuary…. Before that I really wondered that what it will be and at that time I was fully surprised… The beauty of Thol lake was just magnificent it was the experience that can never be described… All were ready with their cameras or smartphones I was also with my weapon iPhone (PROUD!!!) … After taking some wonderful shots we moved ahead.. The next place was too much near to the lake… And after that the next place was like the heaven that I’m probably searching for…. We took some more pics and I found the Defocus function of Vishal’s CyberShot… HOLY SHIT!!!! I was tooooo much impressed… I took some my lonely shots and moved with friends and then to the overwhelming beauty of the woods… Took some masterpiece photos there and Slo-Mo videos… We left the Sanctuary with the fabulous memories…. Ate Gotas( in my way ) or Bhajiyas(in others way)…

Interstellar

Watched Interstellar today…. I can’t express it all how I felt..,And all I can think about is the space ,time relativity. I bow down to Christopher Nolan for making this amazingly fabulous movie…. No doubt best movie I’ve ever watched so far….YOU NEED TO WATCH
